The purpose of this intro will help my audience understand my research question, why Im doing it, and how it will be done. This will help be guide myself throughout my paper. This is different from other sections of my paper, because it introduces my idea. There are not literary works, results, or conclusions yet, it is my perspective on my topic. My goal for the introduction is to get my point across effectively so the reader clearly understands. My target audience is for teachers of now and tommorow who will be teaching Native American students. I hope they will read this, but I will be happy to do this for myself since I want to teach. I will tailor my writing for my audience by giving them my opinion on the whole matter.
This intro has helped me form my ideas on my question onto paper. It has guided my audience and where this paper will go. It has differed from other parts of this paper because Im introducing my idea and my opinions. My goal for this paper was so briefly introduce the development and discuss why I have chosen this research question and how it is important. My audience was other educators in this specific field-either now or training to be.
